This is a giant finger to Steam, the review system, and the refund system. Comment by Mightylink on T20:22:06-05:00Ĭan we please hide these games if we didn't buy them? If your going to copy steam then please copy the best features of steam and hide unpurchased games. Is the plan to have dozens of games listed down the side with a thin bar separating Blizzard from Activision games? The launcher needs a redesign if they're planning to make this another Origin or uPlay. Gonna optimistically hope the prices don't go up *too* much. Hope I'll still be able to make enough gold to pay the inflated prices otherwise i completely wasted what little extra cash i was able to scrape together. As someone who plays WoW using the tokens I'm a bit worried i will no longer be able to play the game i paid a preorder for when it actually comes out now. Literally the only good thing out of this is what others have said, token prices. Who cares? CoD is a blight on the videogame industry. Sick of seeing it pop up with 5-6 games that I'll never play in my life, and now they've just added another one.īetter yet, let Blizzard know how you feel about the changes at: Comment by adscott on T19:32:24-05:00 Give us an option to remove it from the launcher. What?īesides, any CoD Player that hasn't played a MMO would probably stink at the game and we'd belittle them anyhow. You have seen trade chat on any high pop Horde realm, right? XDīesides, how in the world does having CoD Players using the same LAUNCHER as us make them think "Oh I should play World of Warcraft because I play shooters and now I like MMORPGs because its on the same launcher as my meme game!". Please don't make us have to put up with this toxic crap. I was already disgusted when Destiny was put on there and blizzard was contacting me about an activision game, but call of duty is the perfect example of everything that is wrong with the gaming industry. So they know how to make money, and this advent is no exception. They also own King, whom you probably know primarily for CANDY CRUSH. So saying Activision has Blizzard 'by the balls' is pretty much how business works when a smaller, more niche company is brought in as a subsidiary to a gaming company that has been around for nearly 40 years. Heck, the acronym doesn't even INCLUDE Blizzard in it. I've been saying it ever since the buy out at the end of Wrath but noooo I'm the crazy doomsayer Comment by TheRedRogue on T19:02:25-05:00Īnd for those of you who don't realize it, the stock and company have been called ACTIVISION-BLIZZARD since Wrath of the Lich King.
